Monica DiOrio

Monica DiOrio

Monica has been a leader and advocate for those in need for over 15 years. Her interest in working with older adults started as a child, when she would volunteer with her Papou (Grandpa in Greek) at the nursing home where her grandma resided.

Monica earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor’s of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Monica also earned a Multicultural Certificate for her diversified course of studies. Monica is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work through the University of Illinois at Chicago and plans to specialize in mental health.

In her free time, Monica enjoys taking her dog on walks and listening to true crime podcasts. She also enjoys visiting with friends and family, especially her two-year old nephew.

My passion is to serve those in need. I feel strongly that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and be supported during difficult times. -Monica DiOrio
