Event Details

When a patient has an uncertain level of cognitive capacity, what is the legal hierarchy for surrogate decision-making? How can you be sure you are following the correct person’s directives? How can emergency guardianship be prevented? This session will discuss such questions and review the legal remedies to pursue when all other options have been exhausted.
