Understanding Special Needs Trusts – A Valuable Tool for People Who Have Special Needs

Living with a disabling condition can be not only challenging, but also expensive.  Special Needs Trusts were designed to protect people living with a disability and to maximize their quality of life, their access to benefits, and to good care.  Also known as a supplemental needs trust, this legal tool is designed to hold and protect assets for the benefit of a person with a disability. This presentation will explain the different types of trusts, their uses, benefits and more.
