This session will review the types of decision-makers authorized by Illinois law to make decisions on behalf of another adult. This includes Powers of Attorney, trustees, healthcare surrogates, and guardians. Before you can successfully work with these decision makers, you need to:
1 understand whether the decision-maker us legally entitles to make the decision at issue
2. know the extent of the decision-maker’s authority
3. What ethical standards to use when making decisions.
this presentation will discuss these issues, and much more.
