When you are diagnosed with a medical condition, such as dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, MS, or cancer, not only do you need to prepare medically, you need to prepare legally. This session will address important topics such as Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Wills. What legal options are available in planning and paying for your long-term care? How can Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care insurance, and personal care contracts maximize your quality of life?

Registration for Community Members: There is no charge for community members to attend. However advanced registration is required. Please call 847-462-0885 or send an email to events@elderwerks.com to register.

Registration for Healthcare Professionals:  1.5 Continuing Education Credit will be awarded to Illinois Social Workers, Counselors, Nurses, and Nursing Home Administrators for $10.00. Checks can be mailed to Elderwerks Educational Services, Post Office Box 92, Cary, Illinois 60013. To pay by credit card, send an email to events@elderwerks.com for an invoice to be sent electronically. Payments are not refundable.
