Event Details

In partnership with Northwest Community Hospital’s Parkinson’s Support Group, Partner Melissa Kallio, JD, CELA, will be presenting on legal preparation for when you or a loved one is diagnosed with a chronic medical condition, including dementia. This session will address important documents such as Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Wills, and will address questions such as “What legal options are available in planning and paying for long-term care?”; “How can Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care insurance, and personal care contracts maximize your quality of life?”.  This is a community presentation and RSVP is required to attend. CEUs are not available.
