In addition to covering community-based services, this session will answer fundamental legal questions common to family caregivers.
Helen will cover topics such as:
- What are the duties and authorities under a Power of Attorney for Healthcare, Living Trust or Living Will?
- How does the law allow for a person to manage an incapacitated person’s finances?
- How you can assist your clients avoid legal pitfalls as a family caregiver.
