This session will discuss the types of decision-makers authorized by Illinois law to make decisions on behalf of a disabled adult, including agents under Powers of Attorney, trustees, and health care surrogates. Objectives include understanding the legal limits of decision-making and what ethical standards should be applied when making decisions.
